November Update #3 and Michael O’Brien

A big thank you to Father Sumich and all the gentlemen who joined us for our fifth Catholic Men’s night.  We had our largest turnout yet, with 57 men in attendance.   Let us hope that the Guild can continue to improve so that it may serve its purpose of aiding the evangelization of men.

Regarding the question of improvement, we invite feedback from attendees.  If there is anything that you would like to comment on or see improved, please feel free to contact us via email:

Papal Documents on Marriage and Family

In the course of his talk, Fr. Sumich mentioned two excellent magisterial documents on marriage and family that would certainly bear great fruit for men if they read them.  They are linked below along with a few other, more recent, documents from successors of St. Peter.  Please read them if you have the time.

  1. Arcanum Divinae  – Bl. Pope Leo XIII
  2. Casti Connubii  – Pope Pius XI
  3. Familiaris Consortio  – Pope St. John Paul II
  4. Gratissimam Sane  – Pope St. John Paul II
